Warranty Coverage

BlackLith provides a 3-year limited warranty from the date of delivery, unless a written order document states a different warranty period. The warranty covers eligible manufacturing defects in BlackLith-supplied materials or workmanship under normal intended use.

Covered issues may include material or workmanship defects that materially affect the function, safety, or ordinary use of the home, subject to inspection and verification.

Repair-Focused Remedy

For covered warranty claims, BlackLith may provide repair guidance, replacement parts, service coordination, or another reasonable corrective solution. Because prefab homes are large, installed, customised, and freight-shipped, repair is usually the preferred remedy.

If a covered delivery or manufacturing defect is confirmed, eligible repairs may be provided free of charge during the warranty period, subject to this policy and claim evidence requirements.

Delivery Evidence Requirement

For delivery damage claims, customers must provide photo/video evidence captured at the time of delivery or as soon as reasonably possible before installation, modification, or use.

  • Photographs of packaging, container condition, and receiving condition.
  • Close-up and wide-angle photos/videos of the claimed issue.
  • Order number, delivery date, customer name, and location.
  • Any carrier paperwork, delivery notes, or inspection records.

Failure to provide timely evidence may limit or prevent warranty approval, especially if the product has been moved, installed, modified, or used before evidence was documented.

What Is Not Covered

The warranty does not cover every issue that can happen during ownership, installation, or use. Exclusions include:

  • Normal wear and tear, aging, fading, minor cosmetic variation, or maintenance needs.
  • Damage caused by improper installation, foundation problems, site preparation, utility connection, transport after delivery, or buyer-side unloading.
  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, unauthorised modification, unapproved repairs, accidents, vandalism, pests, fire, flooding, storms, earthquakes, extreme weather, or other external events.
  • Issues caused by local code requirements, permit rejection, zoning restrictions, or buyer-selected site conditions.
  • Third-party equipment, appliances, accessories, or services not supplied or approved by BlackLith, except where a written order says otherwise.

How to File a Warranty Claim

Email iblacklith@gmail.com with the subject line "Warranty Claim" and include your order number, full name, delivery address, issue description, photos/videos, and any supporting documents.

BlackLith may request additional evidence, remote inspection, technician review, part identification, or reasonable cooperation before approving a remedy.

Warranty Limits

This warranty is limited to the original buyer unless BlackLith agrees otherwise in writing. Warranty remedies are limited to repair, replacement parts, service coordination, or another reasonable corrective action approved by BlackLith.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, BlackLith is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, loss-of-use, lost profit, site delay, permit, relocation, accommodation, or third-party costs connected with a warranty claim.

Important: Some rights cannot be limited by law. This policy does not remove any mandatory consumer rights that legally apply to a specific order.
